Job Title: Business Manager
Job Overview: Paul Bros NEXTreme Inc. is a multi-diverse, multi-discipline company with manufacturing, construction, and mining services. We work in a diverse working environment and offer a variety of services for our Northern clients.
Located in Yellowknife NWT, population 22,000, and on the north shore of Great Slave Lake it is considered one of Canada’s top 15 sunniest cities and is considered the best place in Canada to see the northern lights. With many natural attractions and resources, such as Great slave lake, the second largest lake fully within Canada and deepest in North America there are many outdoor activities within minutes reach such as swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, biking, hiking, camping and northern lights viewing.
PBN is currently looking to hire an Experienced Operations Manager to work in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories to help improve overall company operations of a diverse business that specializes in metals manufacturing/construction, and mining services. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic, be able to take charge and lead the company strategically, is hardworking and gets along well with others. You must be willing to be flexible with last minute or emergency client requests by meeting tight deadlines with the overall team.
You must be local to Yellowknife, NT or be willing to relocate. Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience, certifications, and willingness to move to Yellowknife, NT.

Strategic Planning: Craft comprehensive strategic plans and project rollouts to steer the company towards sustained growth.
Financial Management: Manage financial reporting, analyze metrics, develop budgets, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
Leadership: Exhibit strong leadership skills to motivate teams, drive initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence.
Communication: Provide consistent updates and reports on project progress to company stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Initiate effective solutions and troubleshoot problems within set budget and time constraints.
Process Optimization: Implement industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and customers.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of excellence across all projects and tasks.
Positive Attitude: Approach challenges with optimism and maintain a positive outlook.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and leadership to other team members to foster professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight: Supervise accounting, reporting, and financial performance analysis.
Policy Management: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Operational Support: Interact with operational units to provide necessary support.
Strategic Analysis: Analyze business units and overall company performance to identify areas for improvement.
Innovation: Recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational and administrative efficiency.
HR Oversight: Manage HR systems, procedures, compliance, and staff planning.
Certifications: Ensure company certifications and qualifications are maintained.
Education and Qualifications:
Possess a Business Management degree, with at least 10 years of experience in the steel industry and/or manufacturing and construction. Financial reporting and analysis certification, leadership training, and safety certification are desirable assets.
Compensation:

Pay: $95,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
