Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Rope Access Technician to join our team in Vancouver, BC. As a Rope Access Technician, you will perform work at heights utilizing rope access techniques in compliance with IRATA/SPRAT standards. You will be responsible for inspections, maintenance, repairs, and other tasks in various industries including construction, industrial maintenance, and building services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct rope access work safely, following all IRATA/SPRAT and company safety protocols.
• Perform inspections, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks at heights.
• Conduct pre-job risk assessments and ensure proper rigging techniques are applied.
• Maintain, inspect, and prepare rope access equipment before use.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with clients on-site.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and job cards after each project.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, including WorkSafeBC regulations.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
• Support various projects, including high-rise window cleaning, industrial maintenance, and confined space work.

Qualifications:

• IRATA/SPRAT Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (valid and up-to-date).
• Minimum of 3 years of rope access experience.
• Knowledge of rope access techniques, safety standards, and equipment.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license (Class 5) and access to reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $24.37-$39.35 per hour
