Position Overview:

As the SEO Manager at Vancouver Tech, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to enhance our online visibility and drive organic traffic. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, well-versed in SEO best practices, and has a proven track record of success in optimizing websites for search engines.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development:
• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve the online visibility of Vancouver Tech.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and search engine algorithms to ensure the company remains at the forefront of SEO best practices.
• Keyword Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities and target relevant search terms.
• Analyze competitor websites and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve.
• On-Page Optimization:
• Optimize website content, meta-tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website updates and new releases.
• Technical SEO:
• Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance.
• Collaborate with the IT and development teams to implement technical SEO recommendations.
• Link Building:
• Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase the authority and credibility of Vancouver Tech's website.
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and relevant websites for link-building opportunities.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Utilize web analytics tools to monitor and report on key SEO metrics.
• Provide regular reports on the performance of SEO initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SEO Manager or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in SEO tools and web analytics platforms.
• Understanding with google analytics and google search console
• Familiarity with the technology industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
