Summer Concession Attendant (Trout Lake & New Brighton)

Description

We are currently seeking Concession Attendants to join us at Trout Lake Park and New Brighton Park in Vancouver for the summer season!

Available shifts will include day shifts Monday through Sunday, 10am – 7pm.

This is a seasonal, fixed-term opportunity. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available!

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environment
• Greet guests and provide timely service
• Serve food, beverages, desserts to guests
• Accurate cash, debit, credit handling at register
• Replenish foods at serving stations
• Prepare food such as popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream dishes, and fountain sodas, using standard formulas
• Inventory control, assess stock levels, prepare product orders
• Ensure cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment
• Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, stooping, and bending for long periods of time

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid Food Safe Level 1 Certification
• Prior concessions experience preferred including POS systems and purchasing
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated
• Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards, must present a neat and professional appearance
• Qualified candidate will be mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
