Veterinary Receptionist with possibly relief Assistant Kennel worker

Are you a hard worker who loves animals? Veterinary Receptionist and possible relief Assistant / Kennel worker position is required.
A potentially PART TIME or FULL TIME position is available in which the applicant will work with others at a Veterinary hospital as a Veterinary receptionist with possibly some fill in as an Assistant/kennel worker. Receptionists are charged with answering phones, making appointments and checking in and out patients. Dealing with clients in a polite, calm and constructive manner is of the highest priority and excellent phone and personal manners are a must. The hospital can be a fast paced environment so the ability to deal with stressful situations will be an asset.

The Assistant/kennel worker job entails working with animals (primarily dogs and cats) and cleaning duties at the hospital which also provides extensive boarding and grooming services along with complete veterinary care.

We are a family operated, small, but busy hospital on Vancouver's west side which provides a high standard of care. The position will allow the successful applicant a stimulating and challenging work environment and an opportunity for learning and stability. Medical and Dental benefits and staff discount will be provided for successful candidates. Experience would be encouraged and motivation is required as would excellent customer service, phone manners, computer and interpersonal skills. We are open 7 days a week , therefore some weekend shifts will be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$22.50 per hour
