Administrative Assistant – Bilingual (EN/FR)

Department: Sales

Job Status: Full Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: National Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Location: Calgary

Amount of Travel Required: 5% (for events)

Work Schedule: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Positions Supervised: None

M-F; 40 hours

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant provides executive support to the leadership team. He/she must be detail-oriented, good at follow-up, and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment. This individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. Must also possess a high degree of confidentiality.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

· Greet visitors and callers in the Western regional office in a friendly and professional manner.

· Provide National incoming call coverage when required.

· Provide callers and visitors with information and guidance to best meet their needs and the needs of the company.

· Provide National sales/marketing support where required.

· Provide backup support regarding shipping and receiving.

· Distribute mail and inter-company documents.

· Coordinate company events and travel arrangements as required.

· Maintain company office supplies; communicate any special office requirements to the Vice President.
