Position Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our billing and funding processes. You will manage billing accounts, process payments, submit and track invoices to multiple different funding sources, communicate with families regarding the status of their billing or funding, and provide exceptional service to our clients billing inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner through Jane, including third party funding sources
- Submit monthly invoices to the BC Government Autism Funding portal and other monthly funding payors
- Assist with billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with management to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, administrative or clerical roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) and clinic management software (Jane) is an asset but not required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively independently
