Description
Beaucoup Bakery & Café creates exceptional French-inspired pastries and childhood favourites including sweet pastries, artistic cakes, seasonal tarts, nostalgic cookies and rich viennoiserie.
We have just opened our second location, located in the historic St Regis hotel in downtown Vancouver, and are looking for one more talented barista to round out our team. If you have a passion for making beautiful coffee and providing excellent customer service, we may have a role for you.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Beaucoup takes great pride in the quality of our food and beverage program, and as such the quality of service must be compatible with the product. The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Welcoming guests and providing a warm and engaging environment
- Taking orders and processing transactions
- Preparing and serving drinks to our guests in line with Beaucoup standards
- Serving food and pastries to our guests in line with Beaucoup standards
- Communication amongst team members to ensure quality and efficient execution of service to our guests
- Receiving and organizing stock
- Comprehensive knowledge of our menu, including potential allergens
- Assisting management with training new staff on cafe procedures
- General cleaning duties
- Other duties related to cafe operations may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 1 year of experience in a hospitality / food & beverage service environment, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- 1 year of experience in a coffee-focused role, preferably in specialty coffee
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of POS systems
- A genuine love of great coffee and food!
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
