Purpose
The Digital Experience Coordinator reports into the Manager, Digital Experience on the Global Marketing team.
This position will be responsible for the execution of tactics designed to improve the customer experience across our guest & partner facing applications. The person in this role requires familiarity with customer experience practices and theory, website and content management, email marketing and digital reporting. This role will work on all guest and partner facing applications across the organization, with a focus on: the global website, the agent portal, the guest portal & itinerary documents.
Key Areas of Accountability
Content Management:
- Manage website content based on stakeholder objectives, performance, and user & customer experience research
- Create and update package itinerary information based on product changes, performance, best practices, and research
Website Management:
- Open and update tickets for website development based on analytics, sales team and direct guest feedback and customer research
- Review newly developed features against business requirements and design
- Work directly with development and IT teams to answer questions, decide next steps and troubleshoot issues
- Communicate changes to our guest and agent facing platforms to the wider organization
- Participate in the organizational wide planning of usability testing for new applications & features
- Prepare reports on website performance, including pagespeed, usability, traffic, and conversion with recommended next steps
- Document marketing activities in Google Analytics annotations to track activities that may impact website or campaign traffic
- Assist with Google Analytics reporting as requested by the wider Marketing and Sales teams
- Participate in the brainstorming, planning, and prioritization of AB testing experiments, with stakeholders across the business
- Build and launch AB tests on Google Optimize
Graphic Design:
- Create and update digital assets, including: banner ads, PDFs, and landing pages for both B2C and B2B lines of business
- Work collaboratively with vendors, internal stakeholders and the rest of the Marketing & Communications team
- Participate in the design of new website components
- Participate in creative review and evaluation
Email Marketing:
- Participate in the planning and execution of effective email campaigns
- Set up AB tests using email software tools
- Participate in the ongoing optimization of email programs by testing creative, copy, timing, offers, and targeting
- Test and ensure quality assurance on emails before deployment
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of email campaigns
- Coordinate and manage content updates required for email campaigns
Operational and administrative activities:
- Management, trafficking, and execution of the digital marketing inbox requests
- Assist with getting monthly invoices signed and delivered to Accounting
- Review processes and procedures to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies when working with wider Marketing & Communications team
- Train and educate wider Marketing & Communications team on digital applications, processes, and best practices
Qualifications
Education, Certification, Licenses
- Post-secondary education in Marketing with a digital focus, Human Computer Interaction or related area of study or relevant experience
- Completion of Google Analytics Academy courses for Google Analytics (desired)
Experience
- 2+ years in online marketing experience, content management or graphic design
- Exposure to product and project management methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications to build reports and presentations
- Experience with design programs, such as Sketch, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Figma or Adobe XD
Skills
- Knowledge of AB testing and conversion rate optimization (Desired)
- Knowledge of design and user experience theory and practices (Desired)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, with a focus on eCommerce Analytics
- Knowledge of Drupal or similar website content management application
- Basic knowledge of Marketo and Salesforce (Desired)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Basic knowledge of website architecture and frameworks
- Strong communication skills

Working Environment
- Hybrid 2 - 3 days from office.
Compensation
- The base salary offered for this role is $52,000 - $60,000 per annum and can vary based on job-related expertise, qualifications, experience and internal equity.
