On Side Restoration’s HR department is growing and it’s an exciting time to join our organization, supporting over 1800 employees and 47 locations! We are seeking an exceptionally organized and enthusiastic bilingual (EN/FR) HR Service Center Specialist to design, launch and evolve our new HR Service Center.

The HRSCS, will work with our entire organization across the country in both languages. In collaboration with HR leaders, this position will be responsible for creating the HR Service Centre! This includes processes and efficiencies, while delivering a customer centric employee experience. Post launch, the position will answer queries, provide solutions and act as a liaison for the HR and Payroll teams. As a key member of the HR team, you will design workflows, manage & disseminate information, provide excellent customer service and collaborate with all stakeholders where needed. The Human Resources Service Center Specialist or Representative will:

  • Help design HR service center workflow.
  • In collaboration with HR and payroll, create knowledge base and recommend improvements.
  • Manage incoming HR and payroll queries.
  • Identify the nature of the inquiry following HR best practices / knowledge base guidelines.
  • Based on inquiries, identify, and recommend efficiencies, improvements, and needs within the HR function and contribute to creation of solutions of same
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Direct complex inquiries to the appropriate HR/Payroll representative
  • Provide excellent customer service and consistent, accurate responses.
  • Assist with documenting and maintaining HR standard operating procedures plus manager workflows.
  • Contribute to company policy creation, updates/revisions based on company and legislative changes.
  • Remain up to date on corporate and department policies, procedures, and projects.
  • Participate in various team projects on an ad hoc basis.
  • Assist with maintaining computerized employee filing systems.
  • Assist with French translation of HR-related documents.
  • Provide HR support as required.

What you bring:

  • Strong ability to consume large volumes of information and apply critical thinking.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail plus have the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • A natural collaborator with superior customer service skills, a strong sense of ethics and a can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes, keep organized, and work efficiently.
  • A college certificate or diploma in Human Resources or related program is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources or related areas such as Recruiting, Payroll, and benefits is required.
  • Fluency in French and English is required as you will need to interact regularly with managers and employees across Canada.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • A sound understanding of human resources operations and best practices is required.
  • Strict confidentiality is a crucial requirement for this position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Windows programs OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
