Are you passionate about how Technology can support People within an organization?

 

We are looking for an empathetic and innovative Manger, People Technology & Support for our Head Office. In this critical role within our People Services team, you will be shaping our organization’s people processes, systems, and employee experience. Key responsibilities include people systems leadership and technology roadmap, team management, company-wide initiatives, and employee experience surveys. A Day in the Life:

  • PS Systems Leadership and Technology Roadmap:
  • Develop and manage the technology roadmap for our People team and manage the projects on the roadmap to ensure they have the people resources and funds to move them forward.
  • Manage the budget for our People systems and projects including working with the accounting team to set up appropriate project codes for new projects, reviewing and approving project hours and expenses and keeping our team budget updated with monthly expenditures.
  • AI & Automation forecasting and plan for the People team
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our processes and systems.
  • Business Continuity Planning
  • Team Management:
  • Oversee the People Technology & Support teams, providing guidance and support and foster a positive work environment.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for team members, including setting performance objectives and discussing career growth.
  • Manage compensation reviews and adjustments based on performance and market trends.
  • Conduct quarterly check-ins to provide ongoing feedback and address any performance-related issues.

  • Employee Experience Surveys:
  • Design, manage, and evaluate annual employee experience surveys and other ad hoc surveys as required.
  • Analyze survey data to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Support our People Team and Branch Leadership in analyzing their survey data and identifying specific actions for their areas.

What You Bring:

  • At least 8 years of experience as an HR professional with a focus on technical systems management or related technology consultant
  • Proven experience in People leadership roles, including system implementation and team management.
  • Extensive knowledge of People Technology tools such as: applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, and other tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to track progress toward objectives.
