The Recruiter/HR Generalist will primarily focus on talent acquisition, playing a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent. This role will also support various HR functions to ensure a seamless employee experience. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience and a passion for connecting with people.

Skills

Tractionites come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from non-traditional backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

  • Proven track record of successful hires and a strong professional network.

 


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.

  • Source candidates through various channels, including proactive head hunting, job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.

  • Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications.

  • Coordinate and facilitate the interview process with hiring managers, providing guidance and support throughout.

  • Manage the offer process, including negotiation and preparation of offer letters.

  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for future openings.

 


HR Generalist:

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of on-boarding material, HR policies and procedures.

  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.

  • Help on-board the new hires to orient them to the organization and their role.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.


Salary - $80 - 90K, commensurate with experience.
