PLUS is a Canadian retailer of exclusive sneakers, streetwear, and collectibles for People Like US. We offer the most sought-after sneakers, apparel and accessories from various brands around the world. We are looking for a talented Seasonal Sales Associate who share the same passion and love for retail and fashion.

The Sales Associate will coordinate with the store management team for day-to-day store operations. The Sales Associate will be supporting the store by creating a safe and professional environment to achieve operational and sales goal, while providing a genuine and curated experience for our customers. This will be a part-time role.

Store Location: Pacific Centre

Responsibilities:

• Perform point of sale transactions.
• Establish a relationship with the customers through respectful and knowledgeable service.
• Uphold customer service standards set at PLUS.
• General upkeep. Making sure no shoes have broken wraps, all items have tags, storefront stays replenished and tidy, etc.
• Keep up to date with new products that enter the shop.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:

• Able to work well and efficiently in sometimes crowded environments.
• Clear and patient communicator.
• Strong knowledge of streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Flexible with hours of work, including weekday, weekends, and holidays.
• Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers.
• High school diploma or equivalency required

Assets:

• Customer Service and Retail Experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Able to perform opening or closing shifts

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Day range:

• Every Weekend
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Work setting:

• Apparel store

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (required)
• Sneaker & Streetwear: 1 year (required)
