The Role: Customer Service Representative (Frontline)
We’re looking for a friendly, likable, extremely detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Rep to join our Mats & Matting team. You’ll be the first point of contact for walk-in customers, phone calls, and emails - so a warm personality and clear communication style are essential.
If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks, this is the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Do
• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-ins, callers, email inquiries, chat, and social media messages
• Answer phones confidently and professionally
• Process orders accurately and handle general administrative tasks
• Support the sales team with follow-ups and existing accounts
• Become a product expert—help customers with quotes and recommendations
• Assist with light bookkeeping tasks (training provided)
• Help our social media team with content ideas, influencer outreach, and engagement
• Go above and beyond to “wow” our customers every single day
The Hours:
Must be able to work Monday to Friday from our Burnaby office location :
• 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or
• 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
What You Bring
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with walk-in customers
• Excellent attention to detail—accuracy matters a lot in this role
• Experience in customer service, retail, sales, or admin preferred
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• A proactive, positive, “can-do” attitude
• A desire to learn and grow with a company long-term
