Description
Varnish is located in the heart of Yaletown at Pacific Blvd and Davie St. We are looking for a Receptionist/Salon Coordinator to join our lovely team! If you are someone who is energetic, have a great personality, patient, and can work well with others, we would love the opportunity to hear from you! Background knowledge in skincare, nail care, beauty, and/or social media marketing is an absolute must. At least one year of customer service experience is required. Applicants who do not meet the minimal requirements will not be considered.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:
⁃ Providing high end customer service to our guests
⁃ Manage greeting, checking-in, directing and checking-out clients in friendly, well-toned manner
⁃ Booking, scheduling and confirming appointments
⁃ Manage all bookings for salon via phone, text, e-mail, and all social media platforms
⁃ Field all incoming calls politely and professionally while engaging with clients
⁃ Manage POS system
⁃ Closing all retail sales and providing product knowledge & advice to clients
⁃ Handling all transactions and payments with clients and guests
⁃ Maintain and upkeeping the appearance of the salon (I.e. tidying up, housekeeping)
⁃ Assisting management with additional tasks/ other administrative duties assigned
⁃ Regularly attend and participate in product training and team meetings
Part-time leading into full time.
Compensation:
Hourly wage will be determined and depending on experience.
